Designed to create a quaint and pretty, yet regal, indulgent feel in any home. This collection is aspirational, capturing French romanticism to create a sense of escapism in soft and airy in barely-there colours. Laura Ashley?s move to northern France had a profound influence on her design and creative direction. The designs in this collection have an essence of European aristocracy with a beautiful feminine touch. Featuring Martigues, a jacquard damask, with a beautifully romantic weaving leaf and floral bloom pattern, inspired by an old piece of silk discovered within the archive. Eglantine, a striking chinoiserie trail depicting wild roses and birds parading across intertwined branches, a digital print on 100% cotton as well as a silhouette jacquard with a textured print. Complimented with luxurious jacquard velvets and co-ordinating stripes.
